I. Guidelines for Participants

A. On-site registration fees

Doctors (non-ASA members) 50,000 JPY
Doctors (ASA members) 40,000 JPY
Nurses and medical staff*1 30,000 JPY
Students and trainees*1 15,000 JPY
Accompanying persons*2 15,000 JPY

*1 Nurses, trainees, students and medical staff should bring a recent job certification or letter from their supervisor confirming their status to the registration desk.

*2 The accompanying person must be a spouse or a family member of the registered participant.

C. Admission to 79JSA

Registered participants of 21ACS can also attend the 79th Annual Congress of the Japan Surgical Association (79JSA) for free without a separate registration. Please wear your name badge at all times. Also please note that most sessions of 79JSA will be conducted in Japanese.

D. Luncheon seminars

Luncheon seminars held by sponsor companies will be held during the lunch break on both the 22nd and 23rd. No tickets or registration are necessary to attend.

II. Guidelines for Speakers

A. PC preview

Please come to the PC Preview Center at least 30 minutes before your presentation to register and check your presentation data.

  • Please bring your presentation data on USB or CD-R made in Microsoft PowerPoint 2007, 2010, 2013 or 2016 for Windows.
  • If you wish to play a video, please compress the video in a format readable on Windows Media Player 12. Please also let us know at the PC Preview Center if you will play sound.
  • Please bring your own PC if you prefer to use Macintosh.
  • If you will use your own computer to present, please make sure it can connect using a D-sub15 pin (mini) connection (shown below).

  • We strongly recommend bringing back-up data of your slide and movie files in case of any technical difficulties.
  • Please refrain from editing your presentation at the PC Preview Center.
  • Your presentation data will be temporarily saved on the PC Preview Center server and on the computer at the congress, but will be deleted at the end of the congress period.

B. Posters

There is no need to give a presentation with your poster other than those who is selected as Best Poster.
Best Poster Presentation will take place in lobby outside Room 5.
