Presentation guideline

Oral Presentation

Speakers are requested to bring your presentation data in a flash memory and load it on one of the congress’ computers at the speakers’ preview desk. Please note that the congress’ computers are being supplied with Windows7.If using a Macintosh laptop computer, please note that you need to bring your own, confirm that it has a VGA socket for external signal and come to check it. Please note that the meeting venue will provide a Mini D-sub15 pin cable for connecting to PC switchers. Macintosh and certain kinds of Windows computers require an appropriate connector to fit a Mini D-sub15 pin plug.

Free papers: 7min. presentation followed by 3 min. Q&A

COI

JSS has set policies and by-laws regarding COI in medical research to properly manage conflicts of interest.
In accordance with this policy, at our congress, all speakers must disclose any COI on the second slide (after the title slide) in the case of an oral presentation, or at the bottom of the poster in the case of a poster presentation.

Poster Presentation

1) Presenters are requested to follow the schedule below in mounting their poster on their assigned board. Your program poster number has been announced by e-mail.
  • Mounting time on Oct. 20 : 8:30–11:00
  • Removal time on Oct. 21 : 12:15–16:00
Any posters remaining on their panels after removal time will be discarded by the secretariat.
2) Poster Panel
  • Poster sizes should be no larger than 900 mm wide × 2100 high.
  • Your program poster number will already be on your assigned board.
  • All poster presenters are required to disclose of your COI statement.
    Please see attached the slides of COI disclosure (PPT files).
    It should be clearly shown at the end of your poster.

3) Presentation
Presenters are requested to come to the following hours and present your paper. The allocated time for each speaker is 5 minutes, followed by discussion of 1 minutes.
