Dear Friends & Colleagues,
It is with great pleasure that my team and I cordially invite you to the 25th International Meeting of the Paediatric Colorectal Club (PCC25) to be held in Tokyo, Japan from 5-7, October 2018.
My team and I are working hard with the preparations and groundwork to ensure that the 25th International Meeting of the Paediatric Colorectal Club will be the most memorable one, academically as well as socially, filled with much learning and laughter.
Since its inception, the International Meeting of the Paediatric Colorectal Club has always served as an important forum where beneficial and rewarding exchanges of knowledge in all aspects of paediatric colorectal malformations and diseases take place, and is now regarded as the single most important annual meeting for all paediatric surgeons and nurses interested in colorectal malformations and diseases in children.
Important dates for the Abstract Submission Deadline Extension (23rd July 2018 at 12:00 Japan Time), the Abstract Acceptance Notification and the Manuscript Submission Deadline can be found on the Abstract Submissions page by clicking here.
Reasons to attend this meeting

At this meeting, abstracts that have been presented at other international meetings but have not been previously published will be accepted for consideration.

Submitted manuscripts (Both oral and poster abstracts) to the Publication Committee of the Paediatric Colorectal Club will be considered for publication in Paediatric Surgery International.
High level scientific sessions focusing on up-to-date clinical and scientific information from clinical studies and research will ensure that all attendees leave the meeting with genuinely useful and valuable knowledge and skills that they can take back to their institutions and improve the quality of care of children that they have the privilege to take care of.
This annual meeting, after a long absence, will be returning to Asia, specifically to be held in the heart of Japan, the amazing city of Tokyo, a city that consistently gets ranked number 1 as the best city and the most livable city in the world.
Tokyo is also well known for its best restaurants. It has the most Michelin Star restaurants of any city in the world. Come and discover yourself the exceptional charm and great efficiency of Japanese people and experience the legendary Japanese hospitality (Omotenashi).
Delicious bite-sized Japanese and Western style food and refreshing drinks (alcoholic and non-alcoholic) will be provided at the Welcome Reception.
Our main banquet will take place at the super luxurious 5 star Palace Hotel Tokyo, located just minutes away from Tokyo Station and Otemachi Station. Just opposite and across the moat from Palace Hotel Tokyo is the much-loved natural splendor that is the Imperial Palace gardens, belonging to Japan’s Imperial Palace which is the seat of the world’s longest continuous monarchy. One of Japan’s best known international DJs will also be playing for us that will get us dancing into the night.

Once again, my team and I invite you all to attend and participate in the 25th International Meeting of the Paediatric Colorectal Club at Tokyo, Japan. I am very much looking forward to meeting you all.

Warmest best regards,
