Instructions for Presentation

◆Oral Presentation

1) Speakers Preview Center

Location: Lobby of the “HANA B・C”
Open hours:
Tuesday, March 23rd 8:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.
Wednesday, March 24th 7:30 a.m. - 4:00 p.m.
All speakers MUST bring their own laptop, to the Speakers Preview Center, Lobby of the “HANA B・C”, and check their presentation data 1 hour prior to their presentation time to verify the correct output to the equipment provided.

2) At Your Presentation

Speakers MUST HAVE a laptop with a VGA D-sub15pin female output function. The VGA D-sub15pin female output connects the laptop to the external monitors and the data projectors. Some laptops require special video output cables compatible to the laptop, in order to be connected to the D-sub15pin. Should you not bring this cable, we will not be able to connect your laptop to the data projector.

The laptop output resolution should be no more than XGA (1024 x 768). The original resolution on the data projectors is 1024 x 768. Higher resolutions will force the data projector into a compression mode that can cause loss of some information and/or not projecting the data.

Note:

Windows users: Please give your presentation using the mouse and the keyboard provided on the lecture desk. Your PC will be connected to the mouse and the keyboard.
Macintosh users: Please use your own PC. Operator will assist you with setting up your PC on the lecture desk.
