Objective

The Asia-Pacific Academic Consortium for Public Health (APACPH) Conference pursues and applies the interdisciplinary study of health, medical care and welfare, which are essential to our lives. APACPH prioritizes practical science and promotes the theories and applications of the study of public health. There is increasing recognition of the importance of assistance from, as well as research and education in public health studies conforming to interdisciplinary areas, for building resilience against disasters in the Asia-Pacific region. Our goal is for APACPH, practitioners and researchers to provide support, promote practical activities, and engage in comprehensively resolving the problem of protecting human lives and health.
The 48th APACPH Conference will be co-hosted with Teikyo University. Teikyo University will proudly hold the International Conference for Teikyo University 50th Anniversary in line with the university slogan, “A Future that Surpasses History.” The main theme for the Conference is “Create a Healthy Future with Competent Professionals.” We believe this conference will provide major contributions to the reform and development of public health education that will lead to future changes in the healthcare system. The theme is chosen to embody the spirit of the University’s founding philosophy, “Practical Learning” and “International Perspectives” and also aligns with the Objectives of APACPH.
The 10th Teikyo-Harvard Symposium as well as various workshops will also be held as part of the International Conference for Teikyo University 50th Anniversary. The events provide opportunities for direct and worldwide interaction among the Asia-Pacific researchers and practitioners.
