Q. 1 I cannot register or log in.
Please check the following settings. If checking the settings does not resolve the problem, changing the browser (Internet Explorer or FireFox, Apple Safari) or updating to the latest browser version is recommended.

*Please be aware that there may be slight differences in the item names depending on the version of your browser.

SSL
"TLS *.*" encryption must be enabled to use this system (AMARYS).
Please check your browser settings.

*SSL Settings

{Mac OS X}
Macintosh does not have an item for setting SSL.
*The following setting is required only when using a proxy.
When a check has been placed in the Menu bar [Safari] --> [Environmental Settings] --> [Details] --> [Proxy] --> [Change Settings] --> [Web proxy (HTTP)]
Also put a check in --> [Secure Web proxy (HTTPS)], and make the same setting as for [Web proxy (HTTP)] in the [Secure Web proxy server] setting field

Cookies
This system (AMARYS) uses cookies.
To use this system (AMARYS) properly, refer to the following and make sure your browser menu settings allow the use of cookies. (The initial settings allow cookies to be used.)

Cookie is information sent by the website to the customer's browser and is registered in the customer's computer.
However, the registered information contains no information that identifies the individual, such as name, address, telephone number, or e-mail address.
In addition, there is no negative impact on the customer's computer.

Flash plug-ins
This system (AMARYS) has contents that use animation.
Use of the following plug-ins and software is recommended to enjoy these contents.

The Adobe® Flash® Player plug-in provided free of charge by Adobe Systems is required to view Flash format files.
Q. 2 The settings are correct, but I cannot log in.
firewalls (a measure for network security) used for LANs might not allow data communication using SSL.
In this case, opening the log-in screen is prevented. For details, check with the network administrator of your organization.

In addition, if accessing via a proxy server, check with the network administrator to make sure the following settings are correct.

Also place a check in --> [Secure Web proxy (HTTPS) and make the settings in [Web proxy (HTTP)] and [Secure Web proxy server] the same.
Q. 3 The characters do not display correctly so I cannot read the information.
Browsers use multiple character codes, such as [Shift-JIS] or [EUC], to display Japanese. Most characters can be displayed correctly by selecting the correct character code. Please try selecting the character code again.

In addition, if the characters still do not display properly after the following operation, characters for which there is a high possibility of incorrect display on the Internet, such as single-byte katakana or machine dependent characters, might be entered in the webpage or there is a possibility that an unsupported language is being used.

Q. 4 I can no longer display the page after upgrading the operating system.
Be careful of the following when upgrading the version of the operating system, plug-ins, and other software.

-When changing the computer environment from that at the time of purchase, such as by upgrading the equipment, have the computer's manufacturer or support center check the current environment to see if upgrading will cause any problems.

-Please understand that JTB will provide no support for problems caused by downloading or installing software. If such problems occur, please contact the computer manufacturer, store of purchase or a software support center, etc.
Q. 5 The updated information is not reflected in the stored data.

When the [Back] button is pressed to go back, all the registration information disappears.

Updated data might not be displayed correctly because there is still prior information remaining in the browser.

In this case, it may be possible to solve the problem by deleting the browser's temporary files.

For Windows

[Tools] --> [Internet Options] --> [General] --> [Internet Temporary Files] --> Click on the [Delete Files] button --> Place a check in [Delete All Offline Contents] --> [OK]

When using Firefox
[Tools] --> [Options] --> [Details] --> [Network] --> [Cache] --> [Delete Now]

Menu Bar [Safari] --> [Empty Cache]
Q. 6 I forgot my ID.
Click on the link "Forgot your ID or password?" below the Login button.

Enter the e-mail address used when registering for this event, leave the Login ID blank, and click the [ID Verification] button. The Login ID will be sent to you.
Q. 7 I forgot my password.
Click on the link "Forgot your ID or password?" below the Login button.

Enter the e-mail address and Login ID used when registering for this event and click the [Reissue Password] button. A temporary password will be sent to you.

Use the temporary password sent to you to log in and then change the password.
Q. 8 I cannot login to the abstract submission page (LaCool).
Please make sure that you have created a login for the LaCool through an automated email provided after the creation of a new LaCool account.
Q. 9 Do I have to make the payment before I am able to submit an abstract?
No, simply sign up for the conference through the Amarys site and DO NOT make the payment. Even without the payment there will be an automated email sent to your registered email address with the pre-registration number written on it. This number will allow you to make an account on the abstract upload page (LaCool).
Q. 10 I cannot register for either the conference or the LaCool page.
Please note that there are two separate systems, ① Amarys which is for the registration of the conference and accommodation and ② LaCool which is to upload/submit abstracts. You must register through Amarys FIRST to get the pre-registration number which will be needed when you register for the LaCool page.
If after doing the above, you still are experiencing problems, please contact us with 1) Which step you are experiencing difficulty with and 2) The error message that pops up.
Q. 11 I forgot or cannot find my pre-registration number.
Please check your spam inbox to make sure that the automated email did not get sorted there. If you have not received the pre-registration number, kindly contact us with your registered full name and email address and we will be able to tell you if you have been registered or not.
Q. 12 How many abstracts can be submitted?
The system allows for multiple submissions; however we would like to limit the submissions per person to one submission per category (Oral and Poster).
Q. 13 How do I submit an abstract?
Please follow the directions provided through this link.
If after following the directions, you still are experiencing problems, please contact us with 1) Which step you are experiencing difficulty with and 2) The error message that pops up.
Q. 14 When will the abstract acceptance notices be announced?
The current schedule is early July; however this is subject to change. Please kindly check our homepage for updates.
Q. 15 お車の利用について
ご来場にあたり、駐車場はございませんのでお車でのご来場はご遠慮ください。
タクシーをご利用の場合、タクシーは病院玄関に停車いたします。
そこから誘導要員を配置しておりますので指示に従ってください。
Q. 16 How can I get the Program and abstracts?
          Will it arrive in advance or receipt on that day at the reception desk?
We will hand in program at the reception desk on that day.
We won't send them in advance. so please download abstracts from the website by yourself.
We have sent the log-in password to the officially registered.
Q. 17 Can I get the documents and materials in advance?
          How can I get to know the registration location of the venue?
We wrote about it in the website.
We will hand in the other materials(name card,strap and certification) on that day.

Q. 18 Where is the parking area?
There is no parking area. So please refrain from coming by your car.
Q. 19 Where can I get off the taxi at the venue?
Please get off the Taxi at the hospital entrance. We arrange the guide staff there.
So please follow the guide's instructions.
Q. 20 Where can I submit PC slide data ?
Please hand in it at 2F the Speaker's Preparation Area.
