The Kobe Portopia Hotel opened in 1981 as part of Japan's first convention center complex and has welcomed guests from all over the world, including foreign dignitaries, celebrities, and athletes.
This Hotel is technologically linked with the Kobe International Conference Center. Only 8 minutes from Kobe Airport, 10 minutes from Sannomiya, and 20 minutes from Shin Kobe Station. |

Toei Kyoto Studio Park: Toei Kyoto Studio Park opened in 1975 as the first theme park in Japan where visitors can observe the filming of jidaigeki (period dramas) as well as experience the world of jidaigeki by putting on period costumes, touring outdoor sets and enjoying various events.

Himeji castle: Himeji Castle was the first to be designated Japanese World Heritage Sites by UNESCO and, among remaining Japanese castles, it is famous worldwide. Its walls are covered with white plaster, earning it the nickname the White Heron Castle.
The renovation period will be a full five years after the start of the scaffolding
installation planned in around 2009.
During the renovation period,a roofed scaffold structure will be installed to
fully cover the main keep.
The roofed scaffold structure and other scaffolding will be removed in 2014. |

Kasuga Taisha Shrine :The most famous and beautiful Shinto shrine in Nara, it features some 3,000
antique stone and bronze lanterns.
This historical shrine is designated World Heritage Sites in 1998. |

The guided tour at SPring-8 gives a general overview of SPring-8's highlights as follows:
1) Watching a video for the introduction to SPring-8(*).
2) Visiting the SPring-8 Public Relations Center with the Exhibition Hall.
3) Observing the Experimental Hall from the observation platform on the second
floor in the Storage Ring.
4) Visiting the X-ray Free Electron Laser, SACLA. |
