It is our pleasure to announce our 2nd newsletter by the 9th International Diabetes Federation Western Pacific Region Congress (9th IDF-WPR) & 4th Scientific Meeting of Asian Association for Study of Diabetes (4th AASD)!

We are very excited that we have been receiving numbers of abstracts. As we would like to provide the opportunity for our colleagues and junior researchers to present their studies, the organizing committee has decided to postpone the deadline till June 22 (Friday), 2012. Please take advantage of this deadline extension and submit your abstract in time!

We offer the travel grants (100,000JPY) for outstanding young investigators, healthcare professionals and students based on their peer review of the submitted abstracts.
We also offer the travel support (50,000 JPY and hotel accommodation for a maximum of 4 nights) for young investigators, healthcare professionals and students based on their peer review of abstracts, essays for motivation of participation, and recommendation of letter from his or her supervisor.
