Oral Presentations :
Please come to the “Next Chairpersons’ Seat” at least 15 minutes prior to the session starts.
Poster :
Please come to the reception desk at the entrance of Hall B7 and wait at your poster panel 10 minutes before the session starts.
Clinical Case Presentation :
Please come and wait at the session booth 10 minutes before the session starts.

Please make every effort to maintain the time schedule.

1. Oral Presentations

1) Authors (including co-authors ) should be a member of Japan Endodontic Association. This is only for Japanese presenters.
2) Only computer presentations will be provided in oral presentations. We regret that no slides or videos may be used.
3) If you have prepared data by Windows PC, please bring your data by USB flash memory. Any other media can not be accepted. Your presentation data will be loaded onto a central server and distributed to an appropriate session room at an appropriate time via a LAN.
4) If you have prepared data by Macintosh, please bring your Macintosh with you.
5) All speakers are requested to come to the PC Center at least 30 minutes prior to their presentations in order to verify if the data functions properly on the equipment provided. In case of using their own laptops, they should bring their laptops to the PC Operation Desk located on left hand in the session room after a preview check

<Data Preparation (for Windows)>

1. The operating system must be Windows 2000 or later.
2. Presentation slide must be prepared by Microsoft PowerPoint 2003/2007/2010 and the following OS standard fonts:
[English] Times New Roman, Arial, Arial Black, Arial Narrow, Century, Century Gothic, Courier, Courier New, Georgia
3. Animation and movies can be included but it should be played by default codec of Windows Media Player 11 or Windows7 (OS). WMV format is recommended.
4. Audio can be included as well.
5. File size should be less than 700MB including movies.
6. Resolution of presentation PC is set as XGA (1,024 x 768). Please be sure to change your resolution to XGA before reviewing the layout.
7. In order to avoid virus infection, please scan your data with the updated antivirus program beforehand.
8. Your presentation data loaded onto the server will surely be deleted by the congress secretariat after the congress.

<For those who bring their own computers>

1. No regulation for computer models, OS and applications, but your computer must have VGA D-sub15 pin female output. Special video output cable is required for some laptops to use the D-sub 15pin to connect to external monitors and data projectors.

2. Please review your data at PC Center if it works properly if video and audio included.
3. Resolution of presentation is set as XGA (1,024 x 768). Please be sure to change your resolution to XGA before reviewing the layout.
4. Please make sure to unlock a password at a start-up, a screen saver, virus checking and power-saving setup in advance.
5. Please make sure to bring AC power cable with you. Running your computer with battery only might cause a trouble.
6. It is recommended to have your data backed up in case of computer trouble.
7. After your presentation finished, your computer will be returned to you. Please come to the operator’s desk and certainly collect your computer. Please make sure to leave just after your presentation because of a small scale of the room.

2. Poster Presentations

1) Location : Hall B7 (7th Floor, Block B, Tokyo International Forum)
Please come to the registration desk at the entrance of Hall B7 before mounting.
Please mount your poster on your poster panel within the mounting time of the presentation day.
Pins for mounting will be on your poster panel.
2) Duration of Presentation : 3 minutes
Please come to your poster panel 10 minutes before the session starts.
Please follow the chairperson’s instruction to maintain the time schedule.

3. Clinical Case Presentations

1) Location : Hall B7 (7th Floor, Block B, Tokyo International Forum)
2) Duration of Presentation
For speakers in English : 7 minutes for presentation, 3 minutes for discussion
For speakers in Japanese : 8 minutes for presentation, 2 minutes for discussion
* Please make sure speakers in Japanese make your presentation within 4 minutes for the sake of interpretation time.
You have 10 minutes each for preparing and removing. Please keep to time punctually.
3) Presentation Style: mini lecture booth (Refer to the following figure)
The number of persons from 10 to 15 can be stored in 1 booth.

4) Following equipments will be prepared by the Congress.
Video Projector 1 set
White Board 1 set
Red / Blue / Black Marker Pen for White Board 1 for each
Table (W1800mm×D600mm×H700mm) 1 set
Chairs 10
AC Power Plugs and Sockets (Type B) 1 place (above the table)
Note : Using and operating the equipments above should be conducted by presenters.
5) Please make sure all presenters need to prepare PC by their own. Both Windows and Mac can be connected. However, when you connect PC to the video projector, only D-sub15 connector corresponds. Special video output cable is required for some laptops to use the D-sub 15pin to connect to the video projector. Please bring the appropriate connector for your own PC.
6) The equipments above 4) will be prepared by the Congress. Any other electric equipments and fixtures should be prepared. Please be sure to give a notice to congress secretariat in advance in case you bring special equipments such as the one with a special power supply.
7) No microphone is used. Presenters should not bring any equipments.
8) The followings are forbidden.
- To demonstrate with a smell
- To use of perishables such as meat
- To carry in animals
- To use fire
9) The presentations will be conducted in 8 (or 7) booths at the same time.
The Congress will announce presenters’ applicable booths numbers individually.

4. Table Clinics

1) Location : Hall B7 (7th Floor, Block B, Tokyo International Forum)

*1 : It includes arrangement time with consecutive interpreters.
Although the duration of each presentation is 30 minutes, 60 minutes is prepared for the sake of interpretation time.
*2 : Since there is no chairperson at Table Clinics, please start your presentations when the time comes.
