Abstracts submitted before the postponement of the symposium are safety kept in our system.
Submission of new abstracts is possible through on-line until November 30, 2011. During this period, editing and deletion of previously submitted abstracts are also possible.

How to Register
This is a Web-only call for abstracts, and requires online registration. You can register by clicking the "Registration" button at the bottom of this page.
Abstract Submission Period
The start date for submissions: July 21, 2011
The end date for submissions: November 30, 2011

During the submission period, you may edit the abstract you registered online. However, the system will automatically close down at noon of the end date, and you will not be able to make edits or delete your registration after this point.

  • Oral (PC presentation)
  • Poster

The presentation format will be determined through the peer review of each abstract by Scientific Program Committee, and then announced via the Symposium Secretariat of ISEA2011.
Points to Note During Registration
1) About the registration number and password
Registrants should use their own registration number and passwords. By using a registration number and password, registrants can edit their registration information as many times as they want (until noon on November 30, 2011). The responsibility for safeguarding the registration number and password rests with the registrant. In addition to the registration, editing, modification and deletion of the abstract, registrants will need their registration number and password to confirm whether the submission has been received and whether the abstract has been selected. Please be sure to record them safely. For information security reasons, please note that we cannot answer inquiries regarding these issues.

2) Word limits, etc.
  • The word limit for title: 20 words in English
  • The word limit for abstract: 400 words in English
  • The maximum number of authors allowed (lead author and co-authors): 10
  • The maximum number of organizational affiliations allowed: 10
