Instructions for Authors
The following instructions are about the submission of the abstract.
- 1.
- The abstract must be written in English and contain a brief, clear statement of conclusion.
- 2.
- The title of the abstract should be no longer than 175 characters including spaces (approx. 25 words) and must be brief and clearly identify the nature of the study.
- 3.
- The abstract body should be no longer than 2,100 characters including spaces (approx. 300 words) and must contain:
- A sentence stating the purpose of the study
- A brief description of methods if pertinent
- A summary of results
- A statement of conclusions reached - 4.
- All abbreviations must be defined before being used as an abbreviation in the text.
- 5.
- Abstracts may not contain any figures or tables.
- 6.
- The abstract may be rejected if instructions are not followed exactly.

- Indicate a category for your abstract.
- 3.
- Specify the type of presentation you prefer (oral or poster).
- 4.
- Abstracts sent by fax or e-mail will not be accepted.
- 5.
- In case of genuine difficulties, please contact the congress secretariat: jhss2010@convention.co.jp
- 6.
- Accepted abstracts will be published and distributed at the congress.
Abstract Review and Selection
Abstracts will be reviewed and selected by the program committee.
Authors will be notified of selection at the end of August 2010 through the e-mail address registered.
