Travel Grant

The organizing committee of the 31st Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Endoscopic Surgery encourages young surgeons from overseas to submit original abstracts for oral or poster presentations. Those who submit an abstract can apply for a travel grant.

  1. Application deadline：June 20 (Wed.), 2018 June 29 (Fri.), 2018
  2. Applicants should be at the age of 45 or younger.
  3. A Foreign nationalities residing in Japan are not eligible for this grant.
  4. A maximum of 10 recipients will be awarded 50,000JPY in appreciation of the presentation by the 31st Annual Meeting of the Japan Society for Endoscopic Surgery.
  5. The organizing committee is unable to cover the cost of registration/accommodation expenses.
  6. It is the applicants' responsibility to obtain the necessary visa for entering Japan prior to the congress.
  7. A Grant recipients will receive notifications in the beginning of October, 2018.
