Non-JCS members overseas may submit an abstract for all English Plenary Sessions and Symposia. Please read the summaries given by the Chairperson in each session, which are announced on [Chairperson's Message], and submit abstracts according to the instructions shown below.

d) There will be no free discussion in this session.
2) Symposia

Depending on your computing environment, your online abstract registration may be rejected (e.g. when a firewall interferes with communication). Please note, however, that no special treatment will be given even in such cases.

How to Submit Your Abstract

For summaries of the sessions, please refer to the Chairperson's Message of each session from the link.

1) Accessing the Online Registration Form

Please access the online registration form from this page. The registration form will be available from Monday, July 13, 2015, 10:00 JST.

2) Registration Procedures

Instructions for abstract registration will be shown on the online registration form. Please follow the instructions to register your abstract. Please note that one person as the first author may submit only one abstract for Plenary Sessions and Symposia.

  • In case any abstract is identified by the Congress Chairperson as the same as an abstract that has already been published in a different Japanese journal or featured in another scientific meeting in Japan, it will be deleted immediately, regardless of whether or not the abstract review result has been announced.
  • If abstracts with the same content appear in different categories, all of the abstracts will be deleted.
3) Body of the Abstract

The body of the abstract (excluding title, author's name, and organizational affiliation) must be 260 words or less in English. It may include one diagram, which should be in GIF or JPEG format and of 10MB or less in size. The diagram can be in either landscape or portrait orientation, which will be reduced to about 6cm x 4cm when printed. However, in case the abstract includes a diagram, the body of the abstract should be 170 words or less.

  • Accepted abstracts will be published in the abstract CD-Rom, in which the abstract title, text, author's name, and organizational affiliation will be printed exactly as you registered on the website. We recommend you to carefully read the instructions on this website before filling out required information upon submitting your abstract.
  • Abstracts will be provided with a keyword index. Please select two keywords from the index that best describe the subject of your abstract.
4) Registration Number and Password

Upon your abstract registration, you will automatically be assigned a registration number. With this number and your own password, you will be able to access and revise your registered abstract as many times as you wish, up until Thursday, August 20, 2015, 6:00 JST. You will be responsible for safekeeping your password confidentially. We strongly recommend you to write down your registration number and password, as they will be required upon your confirmation of acceptance of your abstract, when inquiring about the result of the abstract review, as well as when you revise your abstract. Please be notified that if you forget your password, we will not be able to assist you for security reasons, under any circumstances.

5) Conflict of Interest

When a Presenting Author submits an abstract, it is necessary to check whether or not there are conflicts of interest with a company or for-profit group related to the subject of the presentation. COI status must be disclosed for the preceding one year from the time of abstract submission. (Co-presenters do not need to make a disclosure.)
For more details, please access the abstract registration website and check whether or not there is a COI related to your presentation. Please also disclose your status of COI during your presentation at the annual meeting (either slide or poster presentations).
Please refer to the following Detailed Regulations for more information:
Detailed Regulations of COI

6) Inquiries on Abstract Registration

Abstract registration does not require submission of any other information by post. For inquiries concerning online abstract registration, please contact the secretariat of the Japanese Circulation Society by e-mail or fax.
