Guidelines for Moderators

Please come to the venue at least fifteen minutes before the start of the session you are in charge of.
The Moderator is responsible for his / her own session.
Please keep the presentation time strictly.

Guidelines for Oral Presenters

Presentation Time

The Secretariat will notify the presentation time to each presenter in advance.

PC Preview Center

All presenters are asked to come to the PC Preview Center, located on the 5th floor, PACIFICO YOKOHAMA at least ONE HOUR before their sessions to register their data and confirm its compatibility with our display system.
Organizing Committee will be responsible for deleting the copied data after the end of the symposium.

Simultaneous Interpretation

There will be simultaneous Interpretation between English and Japanese in all sessions including sponsored seminars. Japanese presenters are allowed to give presentation in Japanese.
Presenters should have a meeting with simultaneous interpreter at Room 224 (PACIFICO Yokohama Conference Center 2nd Floor).
Please note that presentation slides must be made in English.

Presentation Slides

Presentation slides must be written in English only. Please bring in your presentation data on a Windows readable USB flash drive or a CD-ROM.

  • Please bring your presentation data on USB or CD-R made in Microsoft PowerPoint 2010, 2013 or 2016 for Windows.
  • If you wish to play a video, please compress the video in a format readable on Windows Media Player 12. Please also let us know at the PC Preview Center if you will play sound.
  • Please bring your own PC if you prefer to use Macintosh.
  • Please prepare slides in 4:3 ratio/format.
  • If you will use your own computer to present, please make sure it can connect using a D-sub15 pin (mini) connection (shown below).

  • We strongly recommend bringing back-up data of your slide and movie files in case of any technical difficulties.
  • Please refrain from editing your presentation at the PC Preview Center.
  • Your presentation data will be temporarily saved on the PC Preview Center server and on the computer at the congress, but will be deleted at the end of the congress period.

Guideline for Moderated Poster Session

MPS: In addition to putting up your poster, we would like you to give oral presentation for 3minutes with maximum 5 slides and you also have 2 minutes for Q&A.

Presentation Slides

Presentation slides must be written in English only. Please bring in your presentation data on a Windows readable USB flash drive or a CD-ROM.
Please make your slide maximum 5 slides.
Other slides guidelines are same as Oral Presentation.

Posters

Please post your posters at MPS Poster area (Lobby) on your presentation day, not Poster Room.

Please stand by your poster and answer the questions from participants at Poster Viewing time.

  • The secretariat will discard any posters that have remained after removal time for each day.

  • Please stand by your poster and answer the questions from participants at Poster Viewing time.

Disclosure of Conflict of Interest (COI)

Please disclose your Conflict of Interest for every presentation by using following template.

- For oral presentations: Please put COI slide in the first or second slide next to the title slide.
- For MPS presentations: Please put COI slide at last of your poster materials, it is not necessary in oral presentation slide.
- For posters: Please put COI slide at the last of your poster materials
